Thixolastic® is a range of texturizers and rheology modifiers combining three technologies: thixotropy, pseudoplasticity and spherology. Thixotropy enhances spreadability and enables an ideal, smooth flow of the product on the skin; pseudoplasticity brings long playtime; and spherology, which is a very precise combination of different particle sizes and materials, provides silicone feel and luxurious texture.
Thixolastic® products impart a soft and rich skin feel upon application, and the after feel varies from mat and dry feel to a slight sheen and soft feel depending on the spherical compounds used. They can be used in all colour care applications as they reduce the sedimentation of pigments.
Thixolastic® Fast Dry are ideal for colour care applications as they combine all the benefits of previous Thixolastic® with a fast drying effect. They provide extreme softness and soft focus effect while improving the longevity of makeup formulations.
Thixolastic® Brassica WL 3 is the most natural grade of Thixolastic® range. It is based on Brassica Napus Seed Oil and Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil. It has same rheological properties as classic Thixolastic® grades, with more skin care benefits.
